A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT OFFER FOR
STREET DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF LOT 73,
TRACT NO. 921, IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY
OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, PER MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 18, PAGES 106 -107 INCLUSIVE
OF MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER
OF SAID COUNTY
WHEREAS, the owner of the property located at 11111 Penn
Street has agreed to dedicate a nine (9) foot corner cut section at
the southwest corner of Penn Street and Los Flores Boulevard to the
City for street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of
the City shall be served by accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication has been analyzed and approved
by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication of said
easement for street purposes from Gaspar Guardado and Yolanda
Guardado described below:
That portion of Lot 73, Tract 921, in the City of Lynwood,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 18 Pages 106 -107 of Maps, in the office of
the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 73; thence
S16 0 13 1 30" W along the easterly line of said lot a distance
of 9.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along a line having a
bearing of N34 1 25'45" W a distance of 11.41 feet to a point
on the northerly line of said lot 73; thence northeasterly
along said northerly line having a bearing of S85 05'E a
distance of 9.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Assessors No. 6170 - 017 -017
Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of
August , 1995.
