A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT OFFER FOR
STREET DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF LOT 104,
TRACT NO. 921, IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY
OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 18, PAGES 106 -107 INCLUSIVE OF
MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF
SAID COUNTY
WHEREAS, the owner of the property located at 11112 Penn
Street has agreed to dedicate an eight (8) foot corner cut section
at the southeast corner of Penn Street and Los Flores Boulevard to
the City for street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of
the City shall be served by accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication has been analyzed and approved
by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication of said
easement for street purposes from Maria B. Santiago as described
below:
That portion of Lot 104, Tract Number 921, in the City of
Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per
map recorded in Book 18 Pages 106 -107 of Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County, described as
follows:
Beginning at a northwest corner of said Lot 104; thence
S 85 05 E along the northerly line of said lot a distance
of 8.00 feet; thence southwesterly along a line having a
bearing of S 55 34' 15" W a distance of 12.37 feet to a
point on the westerly line of said Lot 104; thence N 16
13'30" E along said westerly line a distance of 8.00 feet
to the point of beginning.
Assessors No. 6170 - 018 -019
Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
