A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH HINDERLITER, D E[LAM S &
ASSOCIATES TO PERFORM MONTHLY TRACKING OF
PROPERTY TRANSFERS RECORDED BY THE LOS ANGELES
COUNTY RECORDER'S OFFICE

WHEREAS, Hinderliter, deLlamas & Associates provides the
service of auditing documentary transfer tax payments; and
WHEREAS, the firm will perform a monthly review of the
Documentary Transfer Taxes paid to the City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, the fee for this service will be 15% of recovered
transfer tax revenues; and
WHEREAS, to the extent remittance detail is available, a
review will also be performed for the past three years (FY 1992 -93
through FY 1994 -95); and
WHEREAS, the service fee of 15% will be paid from the
recovered revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the
City of Lynwood does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as
follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes the City Manager
to execute an agreement with Hinderliter deLlamas & Associates to
perform the monthly tracking of property transfers recorded by the
County Recorder's Office.
Section 2. That the service fee of 15% be paid from the
recovered revenues.
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect immediately
upon its adoption.
