A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIz1NG THE PURCHASE OF
DECORATIONS AND NECESSARY DISPLAY HARDWARE
FOR THE CHRISTMAS DECORATION DISPLAY PROJECT
THROUGH AN INFORMAL BIDDING PROCEDURE
WHEREAS, the Christmas Decoration Display Project, Project
Number 5 -5110 is included in the City's Fiscal Year 1995 -96 budget; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to replace some of the existing decorations
that are aged and beyond their useful life with new decorations; and
WHEREAS, the decorations can be purchased more economically and
expeditiously if done through an informal bidding procedure; and
WHEREAS, under Section 6 -6.13 of the Lynwood Municipal Code,
Council can authorize purchases through informal bids by a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 That the City Council authorize staff to purchase Christmas
Decorations and necessary display hardware for the Christmas Decoration Display Project
through an informal bidding procedure.
