A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING
THE RECLASSIFICATION OF THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST II
' ASSIGNED TO THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE TO THE POSITION OF
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Personnel Rules and Regulations, Rule IV,
Section 4 Reclassification, provide for an employee to be
allocated to a more appropriate class when the duties of which have
changed materially so as to necessitate reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has identified the need to
reclassify the current Administrative Analyst II incumbent assigned
to the City Manager's office to the appropriate class of
Administrative Assistant to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, certain necessary and vital daily functions will
be carried out on behalf of the City Manager and City Council as a
result of making this change; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to make
this change.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does find and resolve as follows:
' Section 1. Reclassify Administrative Analyst II
incumbent to the position of Administrative Assistant to the City
Council as provided in Personnel Rules and Regulations, Rule IV,
Section 4.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
