AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO TIIE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, CERTAIN TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS
THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SANE, PRov'IDING FOR THE PUBLICATION THEREOF, AND FIXING T}iE
TIME WHEN THE SAINE SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
SECTION 1. That the following described territory be annexed to and declared to be
a part of said City of Richmond, Indiana.
Being a part of Section Twenty-one (21), Township Fourteen (14), Rarge One (1)
West, Wayne Township, Wayne County, Indiana and being described as follows,
to -wit:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section;
thence North along the blest lire of the Southeast Quarter to the Northwest
corner of the Southeast Quarter; thence west along the South mine of the
Northwest Quarter of said Section Six Hundred Sixty Feet, thence North
parallel with West line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section One Hundred
Sixty-five Feet; thence West Three Hundred Thirty Five Feet to the City
Corporation Line, thence North along said Corporation Line to the South
right-of-way of U. S. Interstate Highway No. 70, thence East along the South
line of said right-of-way of said Highway to a point One Thousand Two Hun-
dred Sixty-eight and Thirty-six hundredths feet (1268.36) East of the West
line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section; thence South to the South
line of the Northeast Quarter of the said Section, thence West Ninety-four
and Seventy hundredths feet (94.70) along the South line of the Northeast
Quarter of said Section, thence South One Thousand Four Hundred Fourteen
and Seventy-eight hundredths feet to a point, thence South One (1) degree,
Ten (10) Minutes West, Seven Hundred Ninety-three and Forty-five hundredths
feet (793.45) to a point; thence South Twenty-one (21) degrees, Zero (0)
Minutes West, One Hundred Thirty-two and Thirty-one hundredths (132..31)
to a point, thence North Eighty-eight (88) degrees, Fifty-five (55) minutes
West, One Hundred Eighty-nine and Eighty-seven hundredths (189.87) feet to
a fence post; thence South Zero (0) degrees Forty-five (45) minutes West,
Three Hundred Fifty-five and Eighty-three hundredths (355.83) feet to the
South line of Section Twenty-one (21), thence North Eighty-nine (89) degrees
Twenty-four (24) Minutes West, Eight Hundred Ninety-seven and 941100
(897.94) feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its pas-
sage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
