Board of Assessors Meeting
February 3,2016
Members Present: Belinda Eyestone, Diane Salomone and Howard Hayes
Also attending was David Tately, Deputy Assessor
Mr. Hayes called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.
New Business:
The Board unanimously approved the minutes of the January 5, 2016 meeting.
Mr. Hayes moved to convene Executive Session to discuss and vote on FY 2016 Real Estate
Abatement applications.. Ms. Eyestone seconded. Roll call vote was taken to enter
Executive Session at 5:40. Hayes-yes, Eyestone-yes, Salomon-yes.
The Board exited Executive Session at 6:47.
Mr. Hayes moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:47 p.m. Ms. Salomone seconded, and it passed
3-0.

Board of Assessors Meeting
February 3. 2016
Executive Session
Howard Hayes called the Executive Session of the Board of Assessors to order at 5:45 p.m.
in the Assessors Office.
Present: Assessors Hayes, Salomone and Eyestone, and Deputy Assessor David Tately
The Executive Session was called to review and discuss Real Estate Abatement Applications.
Kevin and Holly McGurk, of 101 Linnell Landing Road, appeared before the Board to
present their case for an abatement. They explained why they paid as much as they did for
the property, as well as the problems they encountered after purchasing the property.
After the McGurks departed, the Board discussed the property and then voted unanimously to
abate the value $36,200 by removing the changes made after the sales review.
Mr. Hayes moved to adjourn Executive Session. Ms. Salomone seconded. Roll call vote
was unanimous to adjourn. Hayes-yes, Salomone-yes, Eyestone-yes
The Executive Session was adjourned at 6:47.
