ORDINANCE NO. 2680-1972
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, CERTAIN
TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, PROVIDING FOR
THE PUBLICATION THEREOF, AND FIXING THE TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL
TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of the City of
Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1. That the following described territory be annexed to
and declared to be a part of said City of Richmond, Indiana, to -wit:
Being a part of the Southeast Quarter, Section 3, Township
13 North, Range 1 West, Wayne Township, Wayne County, In-
diana, and more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said southeast quarter;
thence east 200 feet along the section line to the place of
beginning of this description: Thence north 165.630 feet;
thence west 200.000^feet; thence north 279.00 feet; thence
east 200.000 feet; thence north 254.00 feet; thence east
15.000 feet; thence north 164.500 feet; thence west 10.000
feet; thence north 123.500 feet; thence east 695.000 feet;
thence southwardly to a point on the center line of Hodgin
Road, said point being 695.000 feet east of the place of
beginning of this description, containing an area of 17.23
acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as
by law required.
