ORDINANCE NO. 2681-1972
AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE. Sum OF EIGHTEEN T!IOUSAND DOLLARS ($18.r'100.00) FROM
P-12 (1-11-122) PARK PAYROLL "SERVICES PERSONAL" ($12,000.00) AND F-13 (i-13-131)
EXTRA HELP FOR SUMMER "SERVICES PERSONAL" ($E,000.00) TO P-66 (7-72-7'b) t?Tf1ER
EQUIPMENT "PROPERTIES".
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of
the existing annual bud,i;-t so that is is now necessary to appropriate more o-Doey
for various functions of the City Government than was appropriated 'to the annual
budget.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Co.rmnon Council of the City of Richmond. Indiana,
that for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year
ending December 31, 1972, the following amount of money is hereby appropriated and
set apart out of the fund named and for the purpose specified.. Said sum being
subject to all laws governing t�-se same. Sikh amount appropriates shall be field to
include all expenditures to be i:iade during the year unless expressly stir,ulaLed by
law.
SECTION Z. That for the fiscal rc:riod, there is hereby appropriated the following
specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency that exists.,

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown; that certain existing appropriations now
have unobligated balances which will n',t be used for purpose which appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Coacion Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that such unnecessary existing appropriation be now, reduced in ar,iount as follows. -
and the same is appropriated to the above named item.

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appronrietior..
SECTION. 5e This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and %fter its
passage and approval by the iiayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana
governing emergency appropriations.
