RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS AND OFFICERS
OF THE RIVERDALE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority granted to the City by section 372 of the Code of Iowa, and
Chapters 16 through 21 of the City code, Council makes various appointments to its offices annually; and,
WHEREAS, the roster of the Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department for 2023, including a list of officers, is
as follows:

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
THAT:

Section 1. Council hereby approves the appointment of the members and officers listed above who
have volunteered to serve the community as fire fighters in 2023.
Section 2. Council thanks the members and officers of the Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department for
their dedication and service.
