ORDINANCE NO. 2635-1972
AN ORDINANCE TO A'PROPRIATE $170,000.00 FROM TBE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL PTROVEMENT
CIGARETTE TAX FU'�D FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF STREET DEPARTMENT FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the
existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for
the various fusi.tions of the City Government than was appropriated in the annual
budget:
NOW THEREFORE F IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, IND1ANA°
SECTION 1. T',at for the expenses of the City Government and its institl¢t.ions for
the year en0,199 Decer,iber 31, 1972, the following amount of money is hereby appro-
priated and( et apart out of the fund named and for t.ie purpose specified. Said
sum bein; s-oject to all laws governing the same. Such amount appropriate! shall
be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made during the year, unless
expressly tipulated by law.
SECTION 2 That for the said fiscal period, there is hereby appropriated from the
Cumulatiq C?liif2Yi Jjj1proyewznt Cigarette Tax Fund for the imrrover:ent of Street
Departmelt Facilities, tine following specified amount to meet the extraordinary
emergeny hereby declared to exist:

SECTIOi4 3. This ordinance shall be in full farce and effect frosr, and after its
passage and approval by the 'Vayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana,
governing emergency appropriations.
