ORDINANCE NO. 2694-1972
AN ORDINANCE TO TP,ANSFER WITHIN THE BOARD OF WOPKS BUDGET THE SUM OF 11;10 THOUSAND
FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2,500.00) FROM,.J-33 (5-51A) HOSPITAL INSUVf mCE "CURRENT
CHARGES" TO J-46 (7-72-726) OTHER EQUIPMENT "PROPERTIES" ($1,800.00) AND 0 a-18
(2-25-252) REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" ($700.00).
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of
the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate :more money
for various functions of the City Government than was appropriated to the annual
Gudgct,
SECTIOFI 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year
ending December 31, 1972, the folloviinq amount cf money is "?erety aprn^onriyted and
set apart out of the fund namerS and, for the purpose specified. Said su.,, beina
subject to all laws governingt the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held
to include all expenditores to be made during the year unless expressly stipulated
by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal pvt,ind there is hereby appropriated the followinc
specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency that exists:

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now
have unobligated balances which will not be used for purpose which appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that
such unnecessary existing appropriation be now reduced in amount as follows:

J-33 (5-51A) HOSPITAL INSURANCE
"CURRENT CHARGES" $ 2,500.00
SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing
emergency appropriations.
