Leesburg Town Hall Art Exhibit Opening Receptions
Rescheduled to Friday, March 13, 2015
Leesburg, VA (March 9, 2015) – The two art exhibit opening receptions at the Leesubrg Town
Hall cancelled due to inclement weather last week will be held as part of the postponed First
Friday festivities on Friday, March 13, 2015.
On the first floor of the Leesburg Town Exhibit Hall, “Observations Inside and Out,” a collection
of artist Laura Mazer’s pastel and oil paintings, will be on display through the end of May 2015.
On Friday, March 13, 2015, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, there will be an opening reception for Ms.
Mazer’s exhibit, with a coffee and dessert bar.
On the second floor of the Leesburg Town Exhibit Hall, a new exhibit showing features art work
by 1st through 6th grade students of Steuart Weller Elementary School, including drawings and
mixed media designs that explore the elements of value and pattern. The exhibit will be on
display through May 2015. An opening reception for the students’ art work will be held on
Friday, March 13, 2015, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
