!-WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since th, adoption of
the existing annual budget So: that i. is now necessary to appropriate more Y,�oney
fcr various functions of the City Government than was apor,"priated to the annual
budget.
SECTION 1. 6E IT ORDAINED by the Common Council or the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year
ending December 31, 1972, the follmiinq amount of money is hereby appropriated and
set apart out of the fund named an-1 fnr the purpose specified. Said Seim being
subject to all laws governing the sam!.s. Such amount arpropriated shall be held to
include all expenditures to be !Wade :!urine the year unless expressly stinulated by
law.
SECTION! 2.. That for the fiscal period there is hereby arnropriated the following
specified amount to meat the extraordinary emercenc v that exists:

SECTION 3, 1;1HEREAS, it has been charm that certain ^xistinq appropriations now
have unohligated balances which will not be used for purpose which oopropriate+.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Couu:;on Council of tine City of Richmond, Indiana,
that such unnecessary existing appronriation be now reduced in amount as follows:

SECTWN 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its pas -
age and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana
governing emergency appropriations.
