A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO J.H. RENTAL,
INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,865.03, FOR THE
OSGOOD AVENUE AND 112TH STREET PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT, PROJECT 5 -5168, FY 1995 -96, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Osgood Avenue and 112th Street Pavement
Improvement Project, Project No. 5 -5168, is scheduled for
completion during FY 1995 -96, and is funded by HUD; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on September 7, 1995,
and J.H. Rental, Inc. was the apparent lowest bidder at
$27,865.03; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this
company has the necessary experience for this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the contract for the Osgood Avenue and
112th Street Pavement Improvement Project, Project No. 5 -5168, be
awarded to J.H. Rental, Inc. for its low bid of $27,865.03.
Section 2 . That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement between the City of Lynwood and
J.H. Rental, Inc.
Section 3 . This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of
September , 1995.
