A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING A CITY CONTRIBUTION OF SEVEN PERCENT (7$)
OF SALARY FOR NON -PERS ELIGIBLE ELECTED OFFICIALS FOR
PURPOSES OF FUNDING A SELECTED DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, elected officials are afforded certain benefits
under the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS); and
WHEREAS, there is an inequitable benefit currently given
by the City as all members are not eligible for the 7% salary
contribution paid by the City to PERS.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does find and resolve as follows:
