A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW LYNWOOD YOUTH CENTER
Whereas, the Lynwood Youth Center Project is included in the City's Capital

Improvement Program; and
Whereas, the City Council on July 5, 1995, per Resolution No. 95 -103 awarded a
contract to Jubany Architecture to prepare plans and specifications for the construction of
new Lynwood Youth Center building; and
Whereas, the process of preparing the preliminary plan for the new Lynwood
Youth Center which after City Councils' approval will become the basis for preparing the
final construction plans, included conducting public workshops through which Lynwood
citizens participated in designing their desired facility; and
Whereas, the preliminary plan for construction of the new Lynwood Youth Center
is ready for City Council's review and approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood approves the
preliminary plan to become the basis for preparing final construction plans for the new
Lynwood Youth Center.
November 1995.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
