A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING SECTION 6.01, 6.01 -C, AND 6.01 -D OF THE REHABILITATION
PROGRAM REGULATIONS RELATING TO REQUEST FOR SUBORDINATION
WHEREAS, The Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee has
conducted a public hearing for community comments and input concerning the modifications to
the Request for Subordination Guidelines, at which time the Advisory Committee approved the
modifications to the Request for Subordination Regulations.' and
WHEREAS, the amendments are in compliance with the Residential Rehabilitation
Program Guidelines as established by the City Council to meet the City's Community
Development goals of providing the residents with decent, safe, sanitary housing, and a suitable
living environment while providing expanded economic opportunities.; and
WHEREAS, The modifications will allow residents who are economically disadvantaged
the opportunity to redirect their efforts and expand their financial condition; and
WHEREAS, The protection of the public investment shall be of paramount importance to
the City when evaluating a request for subordination;
NOW, THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the City Council approves the modifications to Section 6.01, 6.01 -C and 6.01 -D
of the Rehabilitation Regulations relating to Request for Subordination in the form presented to
this meeting
Section 2 . This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
