HomeMy Public PortalAbout1997/01/30 The Special Meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret was held on Thursday, January 30,1997,6:30 P.M., Council Offices, Municipal Building, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey. Upon individual roll call, the following were noted present: Council member Deborah Bialowarczuk "" John DuPont " James Failace "" Jack Fazekas "" Stanley Guto\"ski Noted absent was Councilman William Feingold. The Clerk stated that on January 24, 1997, in compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act, a notice of tonight's meeting was sent to The Home News & Tribune, The Star Ledger and posted on the bulletin board. .,.- The Clerk stated that the purpose of the meeting was to adopt a resolution to go into closed session regarding a PBA Grievance. RESOLUTION #97-38 was introduced and referred to the Council for action. Upon MMS&C, by Council members Failace and Fazekas RESOLUTION #97-38 "RESOLUTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION" was adopted. Upon individual roll call vote, Councilmembers Bialowarczuk, DuPont, Failace, Fazekas and Gutowski voted in the affirmative. Councilman Feingold was noted absent. .- At approximately 6:35 P.M., the meeting adjourned to closed session.
