AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
as follows:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance No.
2325-1968 designates and describes as R-3 (One to Eight Family Resi-
dential), the following described property located at 301-307 National
Road West and 214-218 S.W. 3rd Street, in the City of Richmond,
Indiana, to -wit:
Lot Number Five (5) in Lamb and Boslow's Addition to the
City of Richmond.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change
the zoning classification of the above described area from R-3(One to
Eight Family Residential) to C-2 (Community Business).
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, a study of and a public hearing on this Ordinance
were conducted by the Richmond Plan Commission on the day of
, 1972, at which time all parties interests or affected
b'y this Ordinance were heard.
SECTION 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission
was to 0 in (favor of opposition to) recommending the adoption
of Or finance No. AZL 2 f17a2.
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 5. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of
the above described property be, and the same is hereby changed to
Community Business District and that said property be regulated in
accordance with $fie Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
and all amendments thereto.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as by law required.
SECTION 7. The original zoning classification of the aforementioned
areas is hereby rescinded and the zoning classification of this area
will be in accordance with Section 5 of this Ordinance.
