AN ORDINANCE TO'TRANSFER WITHIN THE BUDGET OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY
THE SUM OF -FIVE THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED AND NINE DOLLARS ($5,109.00) FROM GEN. J-14 S,TATER(2-22-224)
(SERVICES CONTRACTUAL)_, ($2,089.00), GEN. J-16 PUBLICATION LEGAL NOTICES (2-24-242 SERVICES CON-
TRACTUAL)'_($•1,977.00), AND FROM GEN. J-24 FUEL OIL (3-31-312 SUPPLIES)- ($1,043.00) TO GEN. J-12
ELECTRIC CURRENT-ST. LIGHTS.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption
of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more
money for va ious functions of tiie City Government than was appropriated to
the annual budget.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINLLD by the Conturon Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that for tine expenses of the City Government and its institutions
for the year en.'.ing Dece.,;ber 31, 1972, the following amount of money is
hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund na6med and for the purposo
specified. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the same. Such
amount appropriated s!vill be held to include all expenditures to be made
during the year unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for tae fiscal period there is hereby appropriated the
following specified artaunt to meet the extraordinary emergency that exists:

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has beer: shown .that certain existing appropriations
now have unobligated balances which will not be used .for purpose which
appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common COnncil of tine City of Richmond,
Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropria°•.ion be now reduced in
amount as follows:

SECTION S. This Ordin!"snce shall be in full Force an::i effect from and after
its passage and approval by the Aayor and is subject to the laws of the
State of Indiana, governing eriency appropriations.
