The Special Meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret was held on Thursday, February 6, 1997, 6:00 P.M.,
Municipal CourtlPolice Facility, 230 Roosevelt Avenue, Carteret,
New Jersey.
Upon individual roll call, the following were noted present:
Council member Deborah Bialowarczuk
" " John P. DuPont
"" James Failace
" " Jack Fazekas
"" William Feingold
"" Stanley Gutowski
Also noted present was Borough Attorney Craig 1. Coughlin.
Also noted present was Patrick DeBlasio.
The Clerk stated that on February 4, 1997, in compliance with the
Open Public Meetings Act, a notice of tonight's meeting was sent
to The Home News & Tribune, The Star Ledger and posted on the
bulletin board.
The Clerk stated that the purpose of the meeting was to adopt a
resolution to go into closed session to discuss budgetary items
relating to contract negotiations.
RESOLUTION #97-42A was introduced and referred to the
Council for action.
Upon MMS&C, by Council members Failace and Fazekas
RESOLUTION #97-42A
"RESOLUTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION"
was adopted. Upon individual roll call vote, Councilmembers
Bialowarczuk, DuPont, Failace, Fazekas, Feingold and Gutowski
voted in the affirmative.
At approximately 6:04 P.M., the meeting adjourned to closed
sessIOn.

At approximately 6:29 P.M., upon MMS&C, by Councilmembers
Failace and DuPont and unanimous affirmative vote of the full
membership present, the meeting was opened to the public.
ADJOURNED
There being no further business or discussion, the meeting was
adjourned at approximately 6:30 P.M., upon MMS&C, by
Councilmembers Bia10warczuk and Fazekas and unanimous
affirmative vote of the full membership present.
