A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT OFFER FOR
STREET DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF LOTS 407 -412,
OF TRACT NO. 2551, IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 24, PAGES 78 -80,
INCLUSIVE OF MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY
RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY.
' WHEREAS, the development at 11401 Long Beach Boulevard,
in the City of Lynwood, was required to dedicate a five (5) feet
wide strip on Mulford Avenue to the City for street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that said easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by accepting the said easement; and
WHEREAS, said street dedication has been analyzed and
approved by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication
of said easement for street purposes from Dellan 1, Inc., a
California corporation, as described below:
The northeasterly five (5) feet of Lots 407, 408, 409, 410, 411,
412 of Tract No. 2551, in the City of Lynwood, County of Los
Angeles, State of California as per map recorded in Book 24,
Pages 78 to 80 of maps , in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County.
Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of
March , 1996.
