A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING FUNDING FOR THE 1996 UNITY FESTIVAL/
JULY 4TH CELEBRATION

WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is desirous of conducting a
program combining the Unity Festival and the July 4th Fireworks
Celebration; and
WHEREAS, funding for this event must be arranged in advance of
the 1996 -97 fiscal year budget; and
WHEREAS, the funding for the Unity Festival /July 4th Fireworks
Celebration which would include special events for the City of
Lynwood's Anniversary Celebration, would cost $35,000.00; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes funding in the
amount of $35,000.00 for the Unity Festival /July 4th Celebration.
