A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO
BEYLIK DRILLING, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF
$294,000.00, FOR THE WATER WELL NO. 21
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT, PROJECT 5 -5187,
FY 1995- 96, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the Water Well No. 21 Construction Project,
Project No. 5 -5187, is scheduled for completion during
FY 1995 -96, and is funded by Caltrans; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on March 19, 1996,
and Beylik Drilling, Inc. was the apparent lowest bidder at
$294,000.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this
company has the necessary experience for this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the contract for the Water Well No. 21
Construction Project, Project No. 5 -5187, be awarded to Beylik
Drilling, Inc. for its low bid of $294,000.00.
Section 2 . That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement between the City of Lynwood and Beylik
Drilling, Inc..
Section 3 . This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
