FOR LICENSING AND REGULATING PEDDLERS IN .THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, BY ADDING SECTION XIV. BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa: I Section 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to add a section to Ordinance No. 1979=85 to provide !for a penalty for violation of the ordinance and setting of a fine. Section 2. There is hereby enacted a Section XIV of Ordinance No. 1979-85 of the Tiffin Municipal Code which shall read as 'follows : SECTION XIV. Penalty. Anyone violating any:° of the provisions of this ordinance shall - upon conviction be subject to a fine not exceeding $100. 00 ,. (One Hundred , Dollars) or 30 (Thirty) days in jail or both) for any violation. I ,_ Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict. with, the provisions of this Ordinancelare hereby repealed. I' Section. 4. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this Ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or uncon- stitutional , such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or, any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional . Section 5 .. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be In . effect after its final passage, •approval ; and posting as provided by law. Potter thereupon declared the motion to be carried, and Ordinance No. lob-N was then placed upon its last reading and was read the last time.
