A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, COPELAND STREET
(FROM PLATT AVENUE TO FERNWOOD AVENUE)
AND NORTON AVENUE (FROM LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
TO STATE STREET) PROJECT NO. 5 -5176
FY 1995 -96, AS BEING COMPLETE.
WHEREAS, on January 16, 1996, the City Council awarded a
contract of $43,956.00 to J. H. Rentals, Inc., for the Copeland
Street and Norton Avenue Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the project started on April 2, 1996 and was
completed on April 30, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the total project construction cost is
$49,427.89; and
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project, and found that all
work has been completed in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the
Street Improvements Project, Copeland Avenue and Norton Avenue
Improvements Project, No. 5 -5176, as being complete in accordance
with contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 215 day of
May , 1996.
