RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY24 MAXIMUM
LEVY FOR PROPERTY TAXES
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, the City has considered the proposed FY24 maximum property tax levy; and,
WHEREAS, a notice concerning the proposed maximum property tax levy was published as required on
February 1, 2023, and additionally posted on the City's website and Facebook page.
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning the proposed maximum property tax levy was held on February
14, 2023.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
THAT:
SECTION 1: The maximum property tax levy for FY24 shall not exceed the following total: $563,426.
