A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING SERVICE
AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF INGLEWOOD, MIS
DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE COMPUTER SERVICE FOR
PARKING TICKET PROCESSING
YEARS
' WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood began its in -house arkin collection s

during F.Y. 1990 -91; and
WHEREAS, the number of citations issued has doubled from the initial
period of F.Y. 1990 -91 to F.Y. 1995 -96; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to improve its current Parking
Ticket Processing System; and
WHEREAS , the estimated conversion cost of $36,000 is expected to be
offset by the increased parking fine receipts; and
- WHEREAS, the improved system affords the opportunity for a low cost
sytem that will provide for both an improved customer service system and meet
alternative payment demands.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the Lynwood City Council authorizes and approves the
service agreement with the City of Inglewood, MIS Department to provide
computer service for the administration and collection of parking citations.
Section 2. That the Mayor of the City if Lynwood is authorized to execute
the agreement.
Section 3. This resolution shall become .effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this Ind day of July 1996.
