' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING
AND APPROVING CERTAIN HEALTH AND WELFARE
BENEFITS TO CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood provides certain health and
welfare benefits for its employees; and
WHEREAS, confidential employees are allowed to
participate in existing benefits plans that are received by the
management bargaining unit; and
WHEREAS, confidential employees are excluded from
provisions of the management bargaining unit unless specifically
adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, confidential employees are designated positions
noted in the Lynwood Management Bargaining Group MOU, Article II,
Employee Recognition
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, order, proclaim and resolve as follows:
' Section 1. That a comprehensive benefit package be
provided to confidential employees in an amount not to exceed the
greatest amount available to other management employees, and that
a retirement benefit be provided to confidential employees in an
amount not to exceed the greatest amount available to the
management group.
Section 2. That the comprehensive medical /retirement
benefit package shall be available to confidential employees
effective July 1, 1996.
