A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CENTRAL BASIN
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT FOR THE RETROFIT
' CONSTRUCTION FINANCING OF HAM PARK, AND,
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO COMPLETE THE WORK
THROUGH AN INFORMAL BID PROCESS
Whereas, the Central Basin Municipal Water District has a program to finance the
retrofit construction of the park irrigation systems for reclaimed water use; and
Whereas, the retrofit plan was approved by the Los Angeles Department of Health
Services, and
Whereas, Ham Park can be retrofitted to use reclaimed water for irrigation; and
Whereas, the retrofit construction can be done more economically and
expeditiously using an informal bid process; and
Whereas, under Section 6 -3.13 of the Lynwood Municipal Code, Council can
authorize the proposed constriction through informal bids by a 4/5 vote.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a retrofit
' financing agreement with Central Basin Municipal Water District in the amount of $22,000.00
for the retrofitting of Ham Park.
Section 2 . That staff is authorized to proceed with the work for the
retrofitting of Ham Park through an informal bid procedure.
Section 3 . This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
