A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE CONSULTANT SELECTION FOR
THE STATE STREET GEOTECHNICAL SUBSURFACE STUDY
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
' WHEREAS, On May 21, 1996,City Council authorized staff
to conduct the Geotechnical Subsurface Study on State Street
between Weber Avenue and Josephine Street; and
WHEREAS, five (5) proposals for the State Street
Geotechnical Subsurface Study were received from consultants by
July 24, 1996 the due date; and
WHEREAS, proposals were evaluated using various criteria
to rank the consultants; and
WHEREAS, Kleinfelder, possesses the best combination of
experience and qualifications for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the selection
of Kleinfelder to provide the Geotechnical Consultants services
for the State Street Geotechnical Subsurface Study.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute a
consultant agreement with Kleinfelder, in the amount of
$5,700.00.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of
Sevtember , 1996.
