AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORD. 147 TO ESTABLISH
BUILDING PERMIT FEES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA:
SECTION 1 : PURPOSE. The purpose of this ordinance is to revise
and establish fees for building permits in the City of Tiffin.
SECTION 2: AMENDMENT. Section R-109. 2 of C.A.B.O. and Ord.
147 are hereby repealed and the following is established in lieu thereof:
Rates for building permit fees shall be established from time to time
by resolution of the City Council of the City of Tiffin. The City Clerk shall
maintain a sheet establishing the current rates for public distribution.
SECTION 3: REPEALER. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of the Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: SEVERABILITY. If any section, provision, or part of this
Ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
rm adjudication shall no affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any
section, provision, or art thereof not adjudged invalid P ) g a d or unconstitutional.
RATIFICATION:
On the P-"" day of�ceri er , 1993, at a regular meeting of the
Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Mcv'c 1
introduced Ordinance No. 1993- 4/ , and moved that it be given its first
reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson ,3-c ;�;,

Four members of the council being present and having voted "Aye",
and Mayor Glen Potter Declared the Motion carried, that Ordinance No.
1993- NI was read for the first time and placed on the record.
Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson

and seconded by Councilperson Rir-71e/s . that the
laws and,rules providing that ordinances be considered and voted on for
passage at two council meetings prior to the meeting at which it is to be
finally passed by suspended and dispensed with and that Ordinance No
1993- ,,9i be placed on its last reading.

and Mayor Glen Potter thereupon declared the motion to be carried, and

The foregoing ordinance entitled "AMENDMENT TO ORD. 147
ESTABLISHING BUILDING PERMIT FEES" was,published on the:),) ' f day
of L€cernhir , 1993, by posting copies of it in four public places within the City
limits: the U.S. Post Office, the Fire Station/City Hall, Morgan's Standard,
and Flansburg's Hardware Store, all according to the requirementseof Iowa
Code § 362.3(2) (1991) and Tiffin Ord. No. 1980-89.
