ORDINANCE NO. 1994-182
AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE
FOR THE ZONING AND REZONING OF LANDS CONTAINED IN
THE JOHNSTON-POTTERFIELD SUBDIVISION INSIDE THE CITY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA:
SECTION 1 PURPOSE. The purpose of this ordinance is amend Ord. No. 83
(Zoning) to provide for the appropriate zoning of certain lands inside the City and to
comply with the provisions of Resolution No. 1994-6 providing for the zoning of certain
lands in the Johnston-Potterfield Subdivision.
SECTION 2: AMENDMENT TO ORD. 83. The following shall be added to the
comprehensive plan and zoning map of the City of Tiffin to lands pertaining to the
Johnston-Potterfield Subdivision:
A. Lots 1,2,3, & 4 shall be zoned R-3;
B. Lots 7,8,9, & 10 shall be zoned R-1; and
C. Lots 6 & A shall be zoned A-1.
SECTION 3: REPEALER. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in c onflict with
the provisions of the Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: SEVERABILITY. If any section, provision, or part of this Ordinance
shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall no affect
the validity of.the ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

On the fth day of March, 1994, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa; Councilperson I I Z/1()r) introduced Ordinance No. 1994-
/,� , and k moved that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by

Glen Potter;Declared the Motion carried, that Ordinance No.
1994- 12 was read for the first time and placed on the record.

Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson -.6i/cut/in and
seconded by Councilperson Sl-rct O that the laws and rules
providing that ordinances be considered-and voted on for passage at two council
meetings prior to the meeting at which it is to be finally passed by suspended and t
dispensed with and that Ordinance No 1994-giL be placed on its last reading.

Glen Potter declared the motion carried, and the Ordinance passed and adopted.
Whereupon the Mayor declared that Ordinance No./ S1-/gape adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
