NEW BOARD. April 21st 1925.
The new Board was called to order. Mayor elect F.R.Girardot.
at 8:40 P.M.
B. A. Wilkins a Notary Public being present admistered the
oath of office to F.R.Girardot to serve as Mayor for a term of
one year, and Jacob Hasbrouck, M. F. Smith and Dr A. Anderson to
serve as Trustees for a term of two years each.
Mayor Girardot the addressed the Board.
Upon roll call the following members were present; Fullmer,
Powell, Hasbrouck, Anderson, Smith, and Nichols, Absent none.
Mr Girardot the appointed the following Committees;
Finance & Printing, Smith, Hasbrouck and Nichols.
Streets and Alleys, Hasbrouck, Fullmer and Anderson,
Water Works, Fullmer, Hasbrouck and Smith.
Building & Improvement
Parks & Cemetery. Anderson, Nichols and Powell.
Fire &. Police, Nichols, Powell and Fullmer.
Judiciary, Powell, Smith and Anderson.
The Mayor then brought up the proposition of having a man
clean up the toilets and cess pools about town, No action taken.
Clean up day discussed at length by the Board.
Anderson moved seconded by Fullmer, That Clean Up Day be
May 1st and that the Clerk be instructed to have 300 bulletins
printed, Npon vote had all present voted Aye.
The Street & Alley Committee was instructed to see what could
be done in regard to opening up the alley south of First Street.
Nichols moved seconded by Smith to ajourn subject to the
call of the Mayor, All present voted Aye.
