A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT
OFFER FOR STREET DEDICATION OF A PORTION
OF LOT 2, OF THE SLAUSSON TRACT ON THE
CERRITOS AND SAN ANTONIO RANCH, IN THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP RECORDED
IN BOOK 3, PAGES 348, INCLUSIVE OF MAPS, IN
THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID
COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the development at 11490 Wright Road, in the City of Lynwood, is required
to dedicate a 15 foot wide strip along Wright Road, a 12 foot wide strip along Martin Luther King
Jr. Blvd., and a corner cut off to accommodate a sufficient turning radius for street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that said easements
are necessary for the convenience, welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City shall be served by
accepting said easements; and
WHEREAS, said street dedications has been analyzed and approved by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LYNWOOD
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication of said easement for street purposes
from Chuck Bertoni, as described below:
Being a portion of Lot 2 of Slausson Tract on the Cerritos and San Antonio Ranch as
shown in Miscellaneous Records Book 3, Page 348 in the Recordor's Office, County of Los
Angeles, State of California. More specifically described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 2 of Slausson Tract, thence 17.5' S 70 °
45' E along the northerly line of said lot to the true point of beginning. Thence,
304.98' S 20 39' 15" W along the westerly line of said lot, thence 15' S 70 45' E,
thence 267.98'N 20° 39" 15" E, thence 35,36'N 65 39' 15" E, thence 207.49' S
70° 45' E, thence 12' N 20° 39' 15" E, thence 247.49'N 70° 45' W to the true
point of beginning.
Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
