AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. ) '3 - //5 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA: Section 1 . Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. M-1/ of the Municipal Code of Tiffin, Iowa, by changing the rear yard requirement for property zoned as R-1 District (Single-family Residential) . Section 2 . Amendment . Ordinance Amendment No. 1r- 11 , an Ordinance amending the zoning regulations for the 'City of Tiffin, Iowa, is hereby amended as follows: The paragraph shown as "R-1 District" of Section 19 is hereby repealed and the following amended paragraph replaces it: R-1 District : Standard lot size minimum: 90 ft x 140 ft = 12, 600 square feet. Front yard = 25 feet; Rear yard = 25 feet, except where an adjacent alley is available, the requirement shall be 5 feet Side yard = 9 feet Section 3 . Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. 1 Section 4 . Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged, to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 5 . Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval, and posting as provided by law.
