A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE UNAPPROPRtATED
HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION FUND
BALANCE TO THE HOUSING REHABILTI'ATION PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION
~ WHEREAS, the Residential Rehabilitation Program was established by the City Council
to meet the City's Community Development goals of providing the residents with decent, safe,
sanitary housing, and a suitable living environment wtule providing expanded economic
opportunities.; and
WI~REAS, The Housing Rehabilitation Division prepazed a detail budget for the fiscal
year 1996/97 to provide program activity which includes offering residents Defened Loans,
Emergency Grants and Senior Citizen Grants to low income resident~a
WHEREAS, the Rehabilitation Division exceeded the program budget during the fiscal
year 1996/97 ; and
WHEREAS, housing rehabilitation is an eligible activity under the HOME Investment
Partnership Program; and
WHEREAS, there aze sufficient administrative funds in the fund balance of the HOME
Investment Partnership Program.
NOW, THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows :
Section 1. the City Council transfers from the unappropriated HOME administrative fixnd balance

Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
