RESOLUTION N0.97-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE ARLINGTON AVE
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE AND TO MAKE THE
NECESSARY FUND APPROPRIATIONS TRANSFERS.

WHEREAS, Arlington Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and
Gibson Avenue has deteriorated and is in need of repairs; and
WHEREAS, the Arlington Avenue Improvement Project is
not listed in the Capital Improvement Project schedule for FY
1996-97; and
WHEREAS, the project encompasses the reconstruction of
asphalt concrete pavement and the reconstruction of damaged curb
and gutter, sidewalks and driveway approaches on Arlington Avenue
between Atlantic Avenue and Gibson Avenue; and
WHEREAS, in order to proceed, funds need to be
appropriated for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1. That the Arlington Avenue Improvement Project
is approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following fund appropriations and
transfers:
FROM
Unappropriated Gas Tax Funds
$150,000
TO
Arlington Ave. Impr. Project
$150,000
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
