A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO R&L SEWER, INC., IN
THE AMOiTNT OF $89,504.28, FOR THE MERVYN DYMALLY
CONGRESSIONAL PARK STORM DRAIN CONSTRUCTION
PROJECT, PROJECT NiJMBER 5-5173, FISCAL YEAR 1996-97, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Mervyn Dymally Congressional Park Storm Drain Construction

Project, Project Number 5-5173 is scheduled for completion during FY 1996-97; and
WfIEREAS, the Mervyn Dymally Congressional Park Storm Drain Construction
Project is funded by the Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space District funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on March 25, 1997, and R&L Sewer, Inc.,
was the lowest responsible bidder at $89,504.28; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Mervyn Dymally Congressional Park Storm
Drain Construction Project, Project Number 5-5173, be awarded to R&L Sewer, Inc. forits low
bid of $89,50428.

Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between
the City of Lynwood and R&L Sewer, Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
