The Council of the Village of Medina met in special session on Thursday, September
6, 1973 at 8:10 P. M.

Moved by Thomas Stevens to pass the following Resolution: extending bid op-ning
date on the Medina Village Hall: WHERAS, on September 441 1973 the Medina Village
Council found that Contractors preparing bids on the new village hall were unable
to prepare their bids due to the fluctuating costs of materialls. and lack of
time; and WHERAS, the Council, on September 4, 1973 voted to Postpone said
bid opening date to allow further time for bidders to complete their bids,
subject to the Village Attorney's approval of the bidding procedure; and WHERAS,
the Village Attorney reported that said bid opening date could be Postponed only
after notice thereof had been published in the official newspaper for ten days
pursuant to statute; NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Village Council of the
Village of Medina that the bid opening date on bids for the new village hall
be postponed from September 6, 1973 to September 21, 1973 at 7:o0 P. M. CDT,
at the village hall and that ntoice thereof be published in the official news-
paper in its next publicat on.
