A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ALL PRO FENCE , IN
THE AMOUNT OF $74,695.00, FOR THE MERVYN DYMALLY
CONGRESSIONAL SPORTS FIELD FENCE IN CONSTRUCTION
' PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 5-5173, FISCAL YEAR 1996-97, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Mervyn Dymally Congressional Park Sports Field Fence
Construction Project, Project Number 5-5173 is scheduled for completion during FY 1996-97;
and
WHEREAS, the Mervyn Dymally Congressional Park Sports Field Fence
Construction Project is funded by the Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space
District funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on April 8, 1997, and All Pro Fence, was
the lowest responsible bidder at $74,695.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has cevealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience far this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
' Section 1. That the contract for the Mervyn Dymally Congressional Park Sports
Fence Construction Project, Project Number 5-5173, be awarded to All Pro Fence for its low bid
of $74,695.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between
the City of Lynwood and All Pro Fence.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
