A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO POWER

DISTRIBUTORS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $202,967.00, FOR THE
MERVYN DYMALLY CONGRESSIONAL PARK SPORTS FIELD
LIGHTING PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 5-5173, FISCAL YEAR
1996-97, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Mervyn Dymally Congressional Park Sports Field Lighting
Project, Project Number 5-5173 is scheduled for completion during FY 1996-97; and
WHEREAS, the Mervyn Dymally Congressional Pazk Sports Field Lighting
Project is funded by the Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space District funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on April 29, 1997, and Power Distributors
Inc., was the lowest responsible bidder at $202,967.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessazy
experience for this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Mervyn Dymally Congressional Pazk Sport
Field Lighting Project, Project Number 5-5173, be awarded to Power Dish~ibutors Inc. for its
' low bid of $202,967.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between
the City of Lynwood and Power Distributors, Inc..
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
