A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW
AND ADOPT A REVISED FEE SCHEDULE FOR
ENGINEERING PLAN CHECKS AND PUBLIC WORKS
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PERMITS.
, WHEREAS, the current fee schedule for Engineering Plan Check and the Public
Works Improvement Permits have not been revised since 1991; and
WHEREAS, the current fee schedule is not well organized and does not have
provisions for major Public Works Improvement Projects; and
WHEREAS, staffhas reviewed and compared the fee schedule with several cities
and County of Los Angeles; a~d
WHEREAS, the fee schedule is revised to reflect the total cost the City will incur
when the services are provided as shown on "Exhibit A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of
Lynwood as Follow
Section 1. Determines that the existing fee schedule for Engineering Plan
Check and the Public Works Improvement Permits is outdated and needs to be revised.
Section 2. Directs the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood to give and post, as
required by law, notice of passage of this resolution and specify the time and place of hearing of
this resolution which is hereby fixed as follows:
' The hearing to be, before the City Council of the City of Lynwood, at 11330
Bullis Road, in the City Council Chambers of the City of Lynwood at the hour of 7:30 p.m. on
June 3, 1997, at which time and place all persons interested may appear to be heard on the
proposed revised fee schedule.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
