A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA SCHEDULING A NOTICED PUBLIC
HEARING ON REPEALING AND REENACTING CHAPTER 8 OF
THE LYNWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE
TITLE 10 ("ANIMALS") OF THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY CODE
'
WHEREAS, adopting by reference Title 10 of the Los Angeles County Code
requires some special provisions of the Government Code that must be followed; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 50022.3 of the Government Code, after the first
reading of the ordinance, the City Council must schedule a public hearing on that
ordinance; and
WHEREAS, scheduling a noticed public hearing on June 3, 1997 will allow
sufficient time for the required publications of the notice of public hearing and public
inspection of Title 10 of the Los Angeles County Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council will hold a noticed public hearing on
Tuesday, June 3, 1997 in the City Council Chambers, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood,
California at 7:30 p.m. on the attached ordinance repealing and reenacting Chapter 8 of
the Lynwood Municipal Code to adopt by reference Title 10 ("Animals") of the Los
Angeles County Code.
SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
