LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
, tY.NW00D AND THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR
ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City contracts for animal control services; and
WHEREAS, the five year contract between the City and the County of Los
Angeles will expire on June 30y1997; and
WHEREAS, on April 1, 1997, the City Council voted to renew the five-year
contract with the County of Los Angeles;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE,
DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOW:
SECTION 1. That the City Council approves that certain Agreement for Animal
Control Services, dated as of July 1, 1997, between the City of Lynwood and the
County of Los Angeles, in the form presented to this meeting.
SECTION 2. The City Council authorizes the Mayor to sign the Agreement
, referenced above in Section 1.
SECTION 3. This Resolution is effective immediately upon its adoption.
