PLACE: Riverdale City Hall, 110 Manor Drive, Riverdale, Iowa
DATE: February 14, 2023 TIME: 5:30 p.m.
NOTE: A budget workshop and maximum levy hearing was held in -person at the appointed time and day in
accordance with open meeting laws -set -and -defined -by -the State of --Iowa (Sections 21,2 and 21.8).
1. WELCOME
1.1 CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order at 5:37 p.m. by Mayor Heddlesten.
1.2 ROLL CALL - Council Members present: DCamp, Halsey, Jurgena, Littrel. Absent: Adams. Also
present: City Administrator Consultant Hinson (via video conference), Clerk Krell, Deputy Clerk Tripp,
Operations Manager Ballard, Engineer Cooper, and other residents and visitors.
2. OPEN PUBLIC HEARING
Motion by Littrel, seconded by Jurgena, to open the public hearing.
3. PRESENTATION OF BUDGET DATA & MAXIMUM LEVY
Hinson presented budget data and the proposed maximum levy, which has been published in the Quad
City Times per the State of Iowa's requirements. Council, staff, and guests discussed and provided input.
4. CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING
Motion by DCamp, seconded by Halsey, to close the public hearing.
3. ADJOURNMENT
Motion to adjourn by Jurgena, seconded by Littrel, to adjourn the meeting. All ayes. MC. The budget
workshop and maximum levy hearing was formally adjourned at 6:11 p.m.
