RESOLU'I'ION NO. 97-59
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION
PLAN, HOURLY SALARY SCHEDULE AND APPROVING
THE SUPPORTING APPROPRIATION INCREASE
~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted an
Employee Classification and Position Plan and amended same as needed; and
1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted a salary
resolution with salary schedules including an hourly schedule; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has identified a need for the inclusion of
Cable Television Specialist to the hourly section of the classification plan and salary
schedule; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to increase appropriations to support one (1)
hourly position for the remainder of fiscal yeaz 1996-97.
NOW, TI~REFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, detemvne, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. Amend the Employee Classification and Position Plan by
including the position statement of Cable Television Specialist within the hourly section.
Section 2. Amend the Hourly Salary Schedule by adding the position
~ title of Cable Television Specialist at a salary range to commensurate with the full-time
position.
Section 3. Approve an appropriation increase of $6,500 to the Media
Services Department fiscal year budget for the remainder of fiscal year 1996-97 as
follows:

Section 4. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
