A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING FUNDING FOR
THE 1997 L7NITY FESTIVAL/JULY 4TH CELEBRATION
'
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is desirous of conducting a program combining
the Unity Festival and the July 4th Fireworks Celebration; and
WHEREAS, funding for this event must be arranged in advance of the 1997-98
fiscal yeaz budget; and
WHEREAS, the funding for the Unity Festival/July 4th Fireworks would cost
$25,000.00; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section l. The City Council authorizes funding in the amount of 25,000.00 for
the Unity Festival/July 4th Celebration.
