AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE
ZONING OF LOTS IN TIFFIN-EAST SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA:
Section 1 . Purpose : The purpose of this ordinance is to
amend Ordinance No. 83 (Zoning) to provide for the
appropriate zoning of Lots 1 through 30, Tiffin-East
Subdivision, Tiffin, Iowa, and to comply with the provisions
of Resolution No. 1994-12 providing for the zoning of
certain lands in the Tiffin-East. Subdivision.
Section '2 . Amendment . The following shall be added to the
comprehensive plan and zoning map of the City of Tiffin for
Lots 1 through 30 in the Tiffin-East Subdivision:
D. Lots 1 through 29, shall be zoned R-2 -
E. Lot 30 shall be zoned A-1 .
Section 3 . Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.
Section 4 . Severability_. If any section, provision, or
part of this Ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affe

Section 5 . Effective Date . This Ordinance shall be in
effect after its final passage, approval, and `posting as'

the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson
Morgan introduced Ordinance No. 1995-19 and

BE IT ORDAINED.BY THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA: .

Nayes :
Fivemembers of the council being present and having voted
"Aye" , Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried,
and Ordinance No. 1995-196 , was read the first time and
discussed and placed on record.
Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson
Stratton and seconded by Councilperson
Kern that the laws and rules
providing that ordinances be considered and voted on for
passage at two council meetings prior to the meeting , at
which it is to be finally passed be suspended and dispensed
with and that Ordinance No. 1995-196 be placed on its
last reading.

Stratton, Morgan , Kern , Brown , Bartels ,
Nayes :
None
• Five members of the council being present and having voted
;.'Aye" , Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried,
and Ordinance No. 1995-196 , was then placed on its last
reading and was read the last time .
Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson
Kern and seconded by Councilperson
Bartels that Ordinance No.
1995-196 be placed upon its final passage and adopted.

Nayes :
None
Five members of the council being present and having voted
"Aye" , Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried,
and the ordinance was passed and adopted.
Whereupon the mayor declared that Ordinance No.
1995-196 be adopted and signified his approval of
same by fixing his signature thereto.

SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN, IOWA, and known as No. 1995-196 . was
duly passed by the council On the 12th day of

day of July 1995, and published on the 18th day of
July 1995, by posting copies thereof in three
public places within the limits of the City of Tiffin, Iowa .
